This significant achievement heralds the dawn of a transformative era, steering National Board for Arabic and Islamic studies (NBAIS) towards unparalleled excellence and solidifying its position as a beacon for Arabic education in Nigeria.

Your visionary leadership is clearly driving the Board to align with Nigeria’s national priorities for education for all aimed at national development and economic growth, crafting a brighter future for students and the community / nation alike in tandem with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Commander-in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Your transformative agenda is marked by impactful initiatives that resonate with promise: innovative programs aligned with global accept Arabic education and Nigeria’s aspirations are equipping students with cutting-edge skills for the modern workforce; pioneering infrastructure enhancements are nurturing environments where ideas thrive and excellence is palpable; and strategic collaborations are forging potent links between the Arabic education and societal needs, amplifying students skills and community impact.

These strides underscore your dynamic approach, blending vision with actionable steps that drive progress.
No wonder, since on assumption two years ago, NBAIS as a national Examination body has made significant improvement with this year’s (SAISSCE) shows improved successes in the result released recently.

Drastically, you have changed NBAIS positively, infusing fresh energy and direction that is palpable across the Board and your priority for the welfare of the work force.

Your leadership qualities shine brightly – you are a leader who listens and acts decisively, with actions that speak louder than words as evidence in the massive works done with the NBAIS Headquarters sparkling looking and other zonal offices nationwide has again attested your to dynamic leadership acumen. Your exemplary leadership magnificently embodies the inspiring mantra, “With Vision, We Explore Potentials”, auguring a luminous future for National Board for Arabic and Islamic study NBAIS, Nigeria The gigantic feats and repositioning of the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS), under the leadership of the workaholics Professor, Yahuza Sulaiman Imam deserves ovation from well-meaning Nigerians.

No wonder, the Honourable Minister of education Dr, Maruf Tunji Alausa and the Honourable Minister of state for education Professor, Suwaiba Sa’ad Ahmad pay much attention Board by giving the NBAIS the deserved priority which aligns with the saying that ” to whom much is given , much is also expected.

Under Prof Yahuza Suleiman Imam watch, NBAIS has achieved many feats to numerous to mention here.

The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) has officially released the 2025 June/July Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE) Results.

Presenting the results on Monday, 22nd September, 2025, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Board, Professor Yahuza Sulaiman Imam stated that a total number of 40,259 candidates from Integrated Arabic and Islamic Secondary Schools across the country registered for the examination.

A breakdown of the result shows that 24,095 female candidates, representing 59.9% registered while 16,164 male candidates, representing 40.1% registered for the SAISSCE.

The results further revealed that 71% of the candidates scored credit and above in the five major subjects, including English and Mathematics.

Professor Yahuza Sulaiman Imam thanked the Federal Ministry of Education under the able leadership of the Honorable Minister of Education Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, States Ministries of Education as well as other Stakeholders for the support enjoyed prior to and during the examination exercise. He further commended the entire staff of NBAIS for putting all hands on deck for the overall success of the June/July SAISSCE.

As a National Examination Body responsible for the conduct Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE), the certificate issued to students of Integrated Arabic and Islamic Secondary Schools where Science, Arts and Commerce subjects are similarly offered.

It is gladdening that Professor Yahuza is taking NBAIS to an appreciable of stewardship. The Board is determined, hence, the huge success stories of the Board; as the reward of hard work is more work.

There is no gain-saying that the Board is focused on full actualization of its huge Mandates, Vision, Mission and Core values.

The Board is now poised more than ever to discharge its mandates, excel and foster the existing cordial relationship with all stakeholders. Overall, one can say without fear of contradiction that the Board, under Prof. Yahuza has succeeded in prioritizing activities in line with its vision, mission and objectives, thereby making it more result oriented.

The renewed Vision and achievements at NBAIS currently is in full alignment with Mr. President, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda for education for all. All the achievements so far recorded by the Board wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance and support of the Federal Ministry
