Dr. Lawan Cheri: A global scholar with over 1.614 citation

Dr. Lawan Cheri is a globally recognized scholar with over 1,614 research citations to his credit. He currently serves as the Dean, School of Management Studies at the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu (FEDPODAM), where he also holds the rank of Chief Lecturer.

Born on 8th May 1978 in Gashua, Yobe State, Nigeria, Dr. Cheri hails from Gashua Local Government Area. He began his academic journey with a B.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Maiduguri in 2000. His passion for knowledge and academic excellence led him to pursue an M.Sc. in Public Administration from the same university, which he completed in 2014.

In 2019, Dr. Cheri earned a Ph.D. in Public Administration, specializing in Conflict and Migration Management, through a collaborative doctoral research project on Sustainability involving: Universität Hildesheim, Germany, University of Cape Coast, Ghana and University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. In 2018, he also attended a Summer Course on Academic Writing and Presentation at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, further enhancing his academic and research capabilities, Dr. Lawan Cheri continues to contribute significantly to academic discourse, particularly in the fields of public administration, conflict resolution, and migration management.
