President Bola Tinubu has announced the renaming of the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, in honour of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu made the announcement on Thursday during an expanded Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, as part of activities to celebrate the legacy of the late Nigerian leader.
Details of the decision are expected to be made public in due course.
