Kaduna Polytechnic (KadPoly) has emerged as the best polytechnic in the 5th Edition of the National Tertiary Performance Merit Awards (NATAP-M) for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic sessions. The Rector of the institution, Dr. Suleiman Umar received the N50 award with other Kaduna Polytechnic top staff today.

In a related development, Federal College of Education, Zaria was recognized as the best college of education, taking home N50 million. This achievement highlights the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.
Ahmadu Bello University dominated the universities category, emerging as the best with an aggregate of 14 points and winning a staggering N500 million. University of Ilorin also shone, being named the best state university with 9 points and taking home N75 million.
Nile University, Abuja came second in the state university category, winning N25 million, while PEFTI Film Institute, Lagos was recognized as the best innovation enterprise with 4 points, winning N10 million. These achievements showcase the outstanding performance of these institutions in their respective categories.
