The Mayor of Unguwar Sanusi, Alhaji Umar Sanusi, has called on the residents to reciprocate the gesture of Kaduna Polytechnic (KadPoly) in bringing meaningful development to the community as the Institution commenced the renovation of the Unguwar Sanusi Primary Model Healthcare Center.

Alhaji Umar said the Rector, Dr. Suleiman Umar has kept his words of assisting the community, said that after the appointment of the Rector to the acting capacity he promised to continue the good works of giving back to the immediate communities like his predecessor, Professor Idris M. Bugaje.

The mayor appreciated the impact of Kaduna Polytechnic on the people of Unguwar Sanusi in the areas of admission, job opportunities and empowerment programs.

“There was a time when admission was closed, but when I went to the Rector, he gladly received me and officially directed the opening of the admission portal for the people of Unguwar Sanusi to apply.

“Kaduna Polytechnic is a blessing to us because it empowers our youths and orphans with skills, gives us jobs, and offers a quota of admission to us,” the mayor emphasized.

Alhaji Umar said many people in the community have benefited from the institution’s programs and are now running successful businesses from its empowerment programs.

Alhaji Umar urged the residents to reciprocate the gesture by protecting the institution’s properties, staff, and students. He encouraged the residents to offer residential rent to students of the institution and live amicably with them.
