CSR: KadPoly kicks off renovation of U/ Sanusi medical facility

The Kaduna Polytechnic commenced the renovation of Unguwar Sanusi (U/Sanusi) Model Primary Healthcare Center on July 2, 2025, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at improving the lives of people in the surrounding communities.

In his remarks, the representative of the Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic, QS Anas Muhammad, said the project had received approval from the Chairman of the Governing Council, stating that the institution had inspected the primary health center in May 2025 and was now proceeding with the renovation work.

“The Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic is assuring you of a top-notch project that will last for many years and benefit this community. This project has the approval of the Governing Council of Kaduna Polytechnic. Yesterday, the Rector instructed us to start the work today. We have taken pictures of the facility for renovation, and we will justify the work after completion.” QS Anas said.

The Chairman of Unguwar Sanusi Foundation, Honourable Sani Hamza, expressed gratitude to the Council Board of Kaduna Polytechnic and the Rector for the gesture. He said the community had benefited from the institution in various ways, including employment, admission, and development projects.

“The Rector deserves commendations and prayers in the mosques of Unguwar Sanusi,” Hamza added.

The Chief Imam of Danfodio Mosque, Sheikh Abdulhadi Aliyu Daura, said the community would continue to pray for the management of Kaduna Polytechnic for the project and would visit the institution to express their appreciation. He described the Rector as a visionary leader who prioritizes people’s development.

The Representative of the Mayor of Unguwar Sanusi, Sarki Abdullahi Sanusi, expressed his profound gratitude for the development in his area and prayed for the Rector’s continued success. Other community leaders, including Alhaji Ismail Majidadi, Prof. Maikudi Nuhu, and Habiba Hassan, also appreciated the Kaduna Polytechnic management for the project.

The contractor assured the community of standard work, stating that he would do his best to deliver a quality renovation project. The renovation work includes fixing the walls, installing lights, and renovating the facility’s toilets. The project was witnessed by community leaders, staff of the health center, and other stakeholders.
