In its quest of promoting education, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to reduce social vices in Nigeria, a Non-Governmental Organizations with the vision of changing the thoughts of young Nigerians has donated 350 books in various sets of academic discipline to Muhammadu Sanusi Educational Resource Centre, Unguwar Sanusi, Kaduna South.
In his remarks, the Chairman of Unguwar Sanusi Foundation, Honourable Muhammad Sani Hamza appreciated the commitment of the Kaduna State Bureau for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (KADBUSA) through which Rumbling Thought identify the organization and passionatly come to donate 350 books to its students.
Meanwhile, Honourable Sani Hamza said the donations of the books will make a significant meaning in the visionary effort of the Unguwar Sanusi Foundation in changing the thoughts of the young generation of Unguwar Sanusi for brighter future of Nigeria and Kaduna state.
“Our partnership with Kaduna State Bureau for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (KADBUSA) is one of such engagements that started last year with the selection of our members for literacy training of more than 200 out-of-school children within Kaduna state and which marks today’s events.
“Our contributions to the development of education has taken much of our time within the last three years which necessitate the establishment of Muhammad Sanusi educational resource Centre in honor of the first village head of Anguwan – Sanusi under this initiate we temporary take over and renovate UBEC vocational training Centre located inside Poly Road Primary School at a cost of more than six million naira after it was damaged and abandoned. Currently we are running four diploma programmes in affiliation with Institute of Education Kaduna state university, with more sixty students and a number of dedicated staff and management. The programme is aimed at giving access to education at an affordable rate particularly to our women conveniently,” the Chairman explained.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Sani Hamza has expressed gratitude to God for making people within and outside Anguwar Sanusi in putting their hands in the progress of the community.

Members of our Traditional and Religion Institutions, Management and Staff of Secondary and Primary Schools within Anguwar Sanusi, staff and Students of Muhammad Sanusi Educational Resource Centre on the sustainability of the Unguwar Sanusi Foundation that established the Muhammad Sanusi Educational Resource Center for the promotion of knowledge and assistance to the people of the Anguwar Sanusi community.
In his speech, Anas Abubakar, the Head of Prevention, KADBUSA said a focused-developmental society must fight drug abuse among its populace. Furthermore, charged parents and community leaders to take responsibilities of guiding the young minds in the society from the rotten fellow in the society.
Anas expressed gratitude for the commitment of Anguwar Sanusi Foundation in setting a good path for its community members.
In his welcome address, Prof. Maikudi Nuhu, the Former Rector of the Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazure advised the students of the Muhammad Sanusi Educational Resource Centre to be good ambassadors of change and community development, while tasking them to pursue academic excellence for growth and productivity.
Meanwhile, the Sarkin Sabon Layi of Kurmin Mashi advocated for a crusade of change among Kaduna state youths for a progressive society, while applauded the commitment of the Rumbling Thought for the donation.
In her goodwill message, the Principal of Maimuna Gwarzo Junior, Hajia Aisha Jummai Abubakar said when children derail the way and embrace bad attitudes the mothers feel the pain than the fathers, therefore, she advised all mothers to employ good strategies in child upbringing.
In his vote of thanks, Dr. Abubakar Liman, former Rector of Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, Talatal-mafara said youths must be the agents of a good path for Nigeria and parents should make sure all hands are on deck for a better Nigeria.
Shinkafi called on youths to Africanize western attitudes for the good development of African culture and symbols.
The Sarkin Unguwar Sanusi put the lion share of the blame of substance abuse on politicians, said politicians give upper hand to the dealers and abusers of drugs. He decried that politicians remain the godfathers of drug barons and abusers who stand for them between justice.
Umar Sani Sanusi, however pleaded with the all communities of Kaduna state to rise up for the good future of Nigeria for a progressive nation.
