NBTE Executive Secretary endorses Tinubu for second term for continuity in TVET development

The Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Idris Bugaje, has called for the continuity of President Bola Tinubu’s administration beyond the 2027 general elections for the structural development taking place in education.

Bugaje made the call in Abuja, Friday during the launch of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative at the TETFUND Auditorium, an event that featured the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa.

Professor Bugaje cited the need to sustain ongoing developmental strides, particularly in technical education and the reforms taking in the Nigerian education system.

“These are critical sectors that the government is committed to, and that is why I am saying that we must allow this government to continue for another six years,” Bugaje declared.

The NBTE Executive Secretary being an advocate of skills development and TVET reform has been a commitment administrator in many places that he had worked while prioritizing the welfare of his staff. As an NBTE Executive Secretary, Professor Bugaje has been a champion of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Nigeria. His gestures reflect a focus on the well-being of NBTE staff and the needs of NIgerian youths in skills development.
