Permit me to congratulate Associate Prof. Yakubu Haruna Ja’e PhD (Pol. Sci.); M.Sc (Pol. Sci.) and B.Sc (International Relations) for his election as the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Kaduna State University. Prof. Jae is the current Head of the Department of Political Science, International Relations and Diplomacy, Kaduna State University.
Just as our Department being in safe hands our dear Faculty of Social Sciences is equally in safe hands. I can bear witness that our dear Prof., has the “honesty” and “integrity” to hold this very important and sensitive position. Prof. Ja’e is a born leader with an viable qualities right from his immediate family, community, religion, and to his chosen career; the academia. In my thought, the sky will be his beginning rather than the end. Keep on flying Prof.
It is with great joy and respect that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Professor Yakubu Haruna Jae on his well-deserved appointment as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kaduna State University.
Prof. Jae is a distinguished academic, a mentor to many, and a committed scholar whose leadership and vision will undoubtedly elevate the Faculty to new heights. His appointment is a testament to his dedication, integrity, and tireless pursuit of academic excellence. We wish him great success as he embarks on this new chapter of service and stewardship. The future of Social Sciences at KASU is in capable hands.
Prof. Ja’e is an easy going person who liked the progress of all and sundry. He is an embodiment of hard -work, diligence, commitment, dedication, discipline, and seriousness. He is a “counselor”, a “tutor” , and a role “model”. Prof. Ja’e is not only a “scholar” in the “western” sense of the word, but also knowledgeable in Islam. He is deeply committed to his religion. Prof. Ja’e had “imparted” both religious and western knowledge to his fellow Muslim students during his IJMB days as the Public Relations Officer Muslim Society of Nigeria Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria in the early year 2000s .
Permit me to comment our dear scholars of the Faculty of Social Sciences Kaduna State University, KASU for making this choice.
