The Federal Polytechnic Damaturu is being set to Introduce new courses in arts and social sciences, additionally to the science courses for its staff school.
The information was disclosed by Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello, the Rector of the Polytechnic while answering questions from newsmen in his office recently.
The Rector said, the development is aimed at preparing students to have the opportunities of studying courses in Mass Communication, Law, Accountancy Business among others at a higher level.
Dr. Ibrahim disclosed further that, arrangement for the enrollment of students as from next session is in the pipeline as he has approved for the construction of additional classes as well as deployment of staff to the school to teach the courses.
