The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu had on Friday received the Yobe state Focal person on Tertiary Education, Muhammad Umar Babami.
The Focal Person was received by the Director Affiliation, Collaboration and External linkages, Dr. Reuben Omotayo Akinshola on behalf of the Rector Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir.
Babami earlier, while briefing the Management on the visit, he disclosed that it is aimed at assessment of borehole functionality and distribution of book ‘IGNITING RESILIENCE an Ultimate Guide out of your comfort Zone authored by Halima Abdlrauf.
The distribution of the book according to him is for all Tertiary educational institutions in the state, in which the Federal Polytechnic Damaturu is inclusive.
In his response, the representative of the Rector, Dr. Akinshola appreciate the Focal person and his team made up of the representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education and that of the Water Resources for the visit, where he seeks for Collaboration in the others areas of need as the Polytechnic has Directorate of Affiliation, Collaboration, and External linkages.
Highlight of the visit was the presentation of the book by the Focal person to the representative of the Rector.
Present during the visit, were the Registrar Muazu Aliyu, Acting Bursar Ismail Muhammad, Director of Works Bld Umar K. Maina, Director Procurement Engr. Bukar Hassan and the Deputy Registrar Personnel Matters and Pension, Haruna Abdullahi.
