Education Minister, Prof. Tahir’s WhatsApp number hacked

The Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, has fallen victim to a cyber attack as his WhatsApp number has been hacked. The announcement was made on Friday by Boriowo Folasade, Director of Press and Public Relations in the Ministry of Education.

In an official statement, Folasade revealed that unauthorized individuals are currently using the minister’s WhatsApp number, urging the public to disregard any messages or requests coming from it. The statement further mentioned that Professor Mamman has reported the incident to relevant authorities, who are now investigating the breach.

The statement reads: “The Office of the Honourable Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, wishes to inform the general public that the Minister’s WhatsApp number has been hacked and is currently being used by unauthorized individuals. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and urge everyone to disregard any message or request received from the said number until further notice.”

Citizens have been advised to remain cautious and report any suspicious activity related to the compromised number. The ministry is working closely with security agencies to resolve the issue.
