Dr. Maryam Suleiman Jamo of Mass Communication, Kaduna Polytechnic had become the pioneering female to have Ph.D in the Department of Mass Communication.
Jamo who was a senior lecturer with the Department of Mass Communication, Kaduna Polytechnic, obtained her Doctor of Philosophy at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, Northern Cyprus in the Republic of Turkey, last week.
Before her Ph.D in Cyprus, Dr. Jamo had her first primary education at Gashua, Yobe State, Secondary school at Government Girls’ College in Maiduguri, Borno State and Master of Science in Mass Communication from Ahmad Bello University, Zaria.
Dr. Maryam Jamo expressed her heartfelt message to the Management of Kaduna Polytechnic for granting her the opportunity to undergo and complete the Ph.D program at Cyprus, appreciated the motivation, support, and inspiration of her husband, children, relatives, and colleagues through the program.
