Victory is not always for those that aspire for it, but it is good to rejoice with those that made it through the journey of sacrifice, determination and to the victory lifeline.

It encourages those who won having people to share their joy, commend their efforts and clap for them as they smile through the journey of their successes and celebrations of the day of rejoice, and being one of the fun members makes you a true friend.
Dr. Maryam Suleiman Jamo, a colleague, a boss in a working place and a woman of purpose, has added a flying feather on her head. She had flied far away to become a pioneer and an amazon in the history of the Department of Mass Communication, Kaduna Polytechnic as she had done and dusted her Doctor of Philosophy in Mass Communication at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus, Turkey.
It is not easy to be a man like the African Proverb says, but it is more difficult to cross all the boundaries of knowledge to its bus-stop and become the Doctor of knowledge.
Dr. Jamo has made it, leads in academic sojourn among women and wrote a history with a golden ink in the Department of Mass Communication of Kaduna Polytechnic.
Her quest in doing it right and the prowess she posses in fighting the weaker ego in her made her a maestro in the pursuit of knowledge and a winner of victory at all cost.
Dr. Jamo is a kindhearted woman who believes in good ethics, a champion of victory, a woman that has trust in destiny and who builds a bright future for the leaders of tomorrow had made her dream come true in reality.
Dr. Jamo is a feminist who wants the progression of women’s education, development, and prowess in building a sustainable home for women development goals for her believe that a good home must encompasses righteous women.
She is a balanced journalist and also an objective and rigorous researcher who harbors to find solution bedeviling humans and the media with the quest to proffer solutions to the interwoven challenges in the new media evolution.
Dr. Jamo is known globally for her publications in journals, conferences in funding solution in journalism and doing much in the field of impacting knowledge through seminars and training.
We say thank you Dr. Maryam Jamo Suleiman for making us proud while we anxiously can’t wait to receive you.
The Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Dr. Gambo Ahmad Ibrahim wrote, “no matter what, Dr. Maryam Suleiman Jamo had put rejoicing smile on our faces as colleagues being the first female Ph.D holder in the Department, we gladly welcome those coming to her stage for rejoice.
I pray that the knowledge acquired by Dr. Maryam Jamo to be a source of happiness for her, gives her long and healthy life in impacting knowledge on scholars, and make it beneficial to Kaduna Polytechnic and the Department of Mass Communication. Amen.
