The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Bali, Dr. Mohammed Usman, and two other prominent officials have been honored with the Best Rector Award 2024 by the Likeminds Support for Good Governance in Africa (LSGGA).

The award, presented at the Rector’s office, recognizes Dr. Usman’s outstanding leadership and contributions to the polytechnic’s rapid growth and development. The Dean of the School of Science, Dr. Tajudeen Lamidi, received the award on behalf of the Rector.
The LSGGA also presented awards to the Registrar, Alh. Sirajo Isa El-Yakub, and the outgone Bursar, Dr. Abdu Yakubu Mohammed, for their exemplary leadership and dedication to the institution.
Mr. Odey Roland, Director of LSGGA, and Comr. John M Tondo, Northern Coordinator, praised the awardees for their remarkable achievements, noting that Dr. Usman’s leadership has been instrumental in the polytechnic’s academic and infrastructural development over the past two years.
Dr. Lamidi expressed gratitude on behalf of the recipients, acknowledging the organization’s recognition of their efforts. The outgone Bursar also appreciated the honor and pledged to continue promoting the polytechnic’s activities for the benefit of the institution, community, and Africa as a whole.
This prestigious award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Federal Polytechnic Bali’s leadership, and a reflection of the institution’s commitment to excellence in education and governance.
