Parents, Teachers And students of Government Day secondry School Sabuwa,Sabua Local Government Katsina State have expressed delight for the educational assistance offered to the school by “Agile” project to improve the condition of the school.
The principal of the school Sama’ila Magaji Damari and the chairman school based management committee SBMC Yariman Sabua Alhaji Ibrahim Bello Kogo made the commendation in an interview with newsmen in the school premises.
They we’re commenting on the on going “Agile” project awarded to the school for the second time by the agency.
A visit to the school has shown that the school received over Fifty five million naira for the renovation of classes, construction of New Toilet renovation of Science laboratory, and supply of office furnitures.
According to the principal Sama’ila Magaji Two blocks of six classes were given for renovation in addition to the construction hand ball field .
The principal said previously the school benefitted with the first phase of the Agile project and the project has significantly improved learning and teaching atmosphere of the school.
Sama’ila Magaji said the multipurpose laboritory of the school is being taken care of under the second phase and three new toilets were under construction.
During the visit it was discovered that the project reached about Ninety nine percent of completion.the two Central mosques imam izala imam Malam Bello and his counterpart for Darika imam Malam Murtala expressed their delight on the quality of job done and the type of working materials use on the project.
The chairman SBMC of the school Yariman Sabua the village head Alhaji Ibrahim Bello Kogo said the money provided are spend inline with the guidelines given by Agile. Alhaji Ibrahim Yariman said they work in team and in contact with each other as members of implementation committee before executing any thing on the project.
He thanked Governor Dikko Umar Radda for his determination to improve the education sector especially in the grassroots.
The head boya and Head girl of the school Malam Gaddafi Salisu and Malama Nusaiba Idris have expressed satisfaction on the stringent measures put in place by Agile on how the money given should be spend.
The SBMC chairman assured proper utilisation of the money given to the school authority.He called for the pencing of the school by the state ministry of education to stop unnecessary tresspassing of people and Animal in to the school.
