Primary school old boys distribute 100 uniforms to pupils in Zamfara

The Township Model Primary School Gusau Old boys association Class of 1999 have Distributed 100 Uniforms to orphans and less privileged pupils in the school.

While distributing the uniforms, Chairman of the association, Abdulwahaf Ashiru Bayanaka, said the gesture was aimed to assist the vulnerable orphans in the school for them to be like other pupils.

According to Bayanaka, the association had discovered that some of the pupils were drop out from the school do to lack of the school uniform.

The Chairman called on other old boys and wealthy individuals to emulate their association by assisting vulnerable and poor parents in that direction.

“Our Source of income is through Contributions by excos and some members” bayanaka said.

“We hope more members will be extending their support for the sustainability of the association” he contended .

Bayanaka commended the members of the association for their unflinching support and cooperation toward the success of the association.

While, he urged the pupils to pay more attention to their studies, as their future begin right from basic education .

In his speech, one of the members of the association, Alhaji Jamilu Rabi’u commended the important personalities that honoured their invitation to attend the program, adding that, their association will soon extend similar gesture to teachers of the school as part of the association motivation factor.

“Government alone cannot take all, so people have to contribute for the success of education” Jamilu Rabiu noted.

In his remarks the State Commissioner of education science and technology, Mallam Wadatau Madawaki, commended the association for the gesture accorded to the vulnerable pupils in the school.
